In Excel 2007, you can magnify cells by using the magnification tools. The magnification tools are located in the Tools group on the ribbon. The three magnification tools are the Magnify button, the Zoom button, and the Microscope button. The Magnify button magnifies a cell by making it larger than its original size. The Zoom button zooms in on a cell to make it smaller than its original size. The Microscope button magnifies a cell by making it smaller than its original size and displaying its contents in detail.

Select the cells you want to magnify. Select View on the Ribbon and select Zoom to Selection.

This will zoom in on the specific section you want to analyze in your Excel worksheet.

To return to the normal view click on 100%.

Now you’re back to the view you started with.
