If you’re like most people, you probably use VLC to watch your favorite movies and TV shows. But did you know that you can also use VLC to look like Winamp 5? In this article, we’ll show you how to do it. First, open up VLC and click the “Preferences” button. On the “Appearance” tab, click the “Winamp 5” button. Now, some of the settings on this tab will be different depending on whether or not you have a Windows or Mac operating system. For example, if you have a Windows operating system, Winamp 5 will probably have a “Skin” option under the “Appearance” tab. If you have a Mac operating system, however, Winamp 5 probably won’t have any skin options at all. In that case, we’ll need to find another way to get the same effect. To do that, we’ll need to download a skin for VLC called “Winamp Classic.” Once we’ve downloaded it, open up VLC and click the “Skin” button under the “Preferences” tab. On the next screen, select “Winamp Classic.” Now that we’ve selected our skin, some of the other settings on the Appearance tab will be different too. For example, under the “Buttons & Menu Bar” section there will be an option called “Hide Menu Bar.” Clicking this option will hide both your menu bar and your toolbar (unless you want them to stay hidden). If you want to keep your window size small (like when you’re using VLC in full-screen mode), then under the “Window Size & Position” section there is an option called “Make Window Smaller.” Clicking this option will make your window smaller than usual. ..

You will first need to download the skin named Winamp5 from the skins page. This skin looks a lot like Winamp 5. It’s not exact, but it’s a pretty good skin. Unfortunately, it only has the minimized mode as you can see here:

To install on Ubuntu Linux:

Hit Alt+F2 to bring up the run dialog, and type in this:

This will bring up the player in the right mode to let you install new skins. Right click on the title bar area and choose Select Skin \ Open Skin, and choose the skin file that you have downloaded.

To install on Windows:

Select the “VLC media player (skins)
