When you want to move an item in Microsoft Word, you first need to select the item you want to move. Then, you need to choose a location for the new location. Finally, you need to choose a action for the new location. To move an item up or down in Microsoft Word, follow these steps:

  1. Select the item you want to move.
  2. Choose a location for the new location.
  3. Choose a action for the new location.

The keyboard shortcut is Shift+Alt + Up/Down, and it’s used to move items up or down.

To use this feature, you don’t even have to select the row or item that you want to move… just make sure your cursor is focused on the element or row you want to move:
