Firefox is a popular web browser and one of the most popular browsers in use today. It has a number of features that make it an excellent choice for online browsing, including a fast and reliable connection, support for many languages, and a large selection of add-ons. One of the features that Firefox offers users is the ability to move the progress bar to the tabs in the browser. This can be useful if you want to quickly access different parts of your website while you’re on your way somewhere else. To move the progress bar to the tabs in Firefox, follow these steps:

  1. Open Firefox and click on the three lines in the top left corner of your screen. This will open a menu with several options.
  2. The first option is called “Settings.” In this option, you’ll need to select “Browsing.” If you’re using an earlier version of Firefox, you may need to select “History” instead.
  3. The next option is called “Tabs.” In this option, you’ll need to select “Add New Tab.” If you’re using an earlier version of Firefox, you may need to select “History” instead.
  4. The last option is called “Progress Bar.” In this option, you’ll need to select “Move To Tab.” If you’re using an earlier version of Firefox, you may need to select “History” instead.

Before

Here is the “Progress Bar” showing in the “Status Bar” while a webpage is loading…nice if you like having the “Status Bar” displayed. But what if you prefer to have the “Status Bar” hidden?

After

Once you have installed the extension, the “Progress Bar” will display on any tabs that are currently loading leaving you free to completely hide the “Status Bar” if you desire.

Note: There are no options to have to worry with for this extension…just install and go.
