If you want to quickly select a tab with your keyboard, there is a quick and easy way to do it. First, open Firefox and click on the three lines in the top right corner of the window. Then, click on the “Tabs” button (the one with three lines). Now, you will see a list of all of your open tabs. To select a specific tab, just press the keyboard shortcut that you want to use. For example, if you want to select the third tab from the top, you would press “3”. ..
Hotkeys:
Ctrl + 1 will always select the leftmost tab.
Ctrl + 2-8 will select each of the tabs in order from left to right.
Ctrl + 9 will always select the rightmost tab.
To see this “in action”, notice that I currently have the middle tab selected:
I hit the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + 1, and I’m instantly taken to the first tab again:
This can save you a ton of time if you like to open a bunch of tabs.
