Windows Live Writer is a great way to keep track of future dates in your calendar. You can create a custom date range, or use the built-in date range. You can also add your own dates and time ranges.


This is a feature that seems to be overlooked by everybody, since it’s not done in a particularly obvious way in the interface.

To assign the date, just click the little drop-down button where you see the mouse pointer below:

Then click where you see the time, and you can type in the time to change it.

To change from PM to AM, just either use the arrow keys to highlight that part of the time or the mouse, and then use the Up/Down arrow keys to change between them.
