Windows Vista Task Manager is a great tool to see the process name and file name of any processes that are running on your computer. This tool can be used to identify problems with your computer or to troubleshoot issues. To use Windows Vista Task Manager, open the task manager by clicking the three lines in the top left corner of your screen. Then, click on the Processes tab. On the Processes tab, you will see a list of all the processes that are running on your computer. You can see the process name and file name if you hover over it. If you want to stop a process, you can do this by clicking on its name and then clicking on Stop. You can also use this tool to view information about a process such as its start time and duration.
To start task manager, just right click on the taskbar and choose task manager. Then select the View menu and Select Columns.
Then select the Image Path Name checkbox in the list.
Now you should see the file name in the list of running processes:
If you see items that don’t have an image path name, that’s because they are running from the windows directory, or somewhere in the system path.
